About Us

We are a group of medical students from the NUS YLLSoM who are just passionate about global health!

Through electives, mentorship and other enrichment activities, we hope to learn more about global health and how we can contribute to the global health landscape even as students. 

​

We gather together regularly through the year for Anchor Sessions, where we calibrate and anchor ourselves, just like dropping an anchor in a port during a voyage! During these Anchor Sessions, we have the privilege of hearing from professionals and experts in the field, and also have the chance to also engage in fruitful discussion with our peers as we reflect on our learning through the year!

Our GHIG Committee Structure

Our GHIG EXCO comprises our heads and secretary treasurer, our 4 main sub-committees - Electives, Mentorship & Welfare, Publicity and Outreach, as well as our SIMSA Envoys (who help form the bridge between our GHIG and the Singapore Medical Students' Association - International, SIMSA).
